Timothy Chin set one of Timothy Chin's replies as an official response to "Triggering Salesforce updates on custom events" in CustomWare
Timothy Chin replied on March 09, 2010 23:52 to the question "Triggering Salesforce updates on custom events" in CustomWare:
Hi Patrick,
After digging through the code, I released that indeed the Issue Assigned event was not coded. Sorry for the confusion above that I caused. I have also created https://greenhouse.customware.net/jir... to track this Improvement.
I have also created another issue @ https://greenhouse.customware.net/jir... to track the new feature request of the listener picking up on custom events.
Moving forward, the issues raised above will be followed up on those JIRA issues.
Cheers,
Timothy

Hi Tyler,
This seems very weird. May I know if we can schedule a Skype call? I have heard of this problem before but was never able to reproduce it. Can you please email me or my colleague at these email addresses to setup a meeting?

Timothy Chin asked a question in Get Satisfaction on March 01, 2010 03:22:
Are the search widgets working?I've placed the search widget on a simple html page and tried a search but returns no results..
Timothy Chin replied on March 01, 2010 02:38 to the question "Searching for Jira tickets before filing Jira tickets?" in CustomWare:
Hi John,
As the plugin does not provide you with such features, you may try this as a workaround.
1. Create a button that will execute a VisualForce page to open JIRA's Issue Navigator page.
2. Get the VisualForce page to update the case (e.g. custom field as a flag on whether the user has searched through JIRA or not).
3. Allow users to create JIRA issues from Salesforce.com based on the flag.
In addition, you make use of the Salesforce.com Ajax Toolkit (http://bit.ly/9IHJsb) to enhance the features that you want to create.
Documentation for VisualForce - http://bit.ly/aNFBn0
Hope this helps.

Hi John,
Unfortunately, the plugin does not support SSO at the moment.
After searching through Salesforce.com documentation (depends on your Salesforce.com license), you can assign profiles to certain users. Each profile can contain different restrictions and permissions. By default, Salesforce.com should come with a Read Only profile which you can assign to your developers.
Hope this helps.
Cheer,

Hi Robert,
Do you mind emailing my email (timothy dot chin at customware dot net) with your email? GetSatisfaction does not allow me to view your email address. I would like to create an issue from your at our Issue Tracker @ http://bit.ly/aJEURm. Alternatively, you can create an issue yourself directly at our Issue Tracker.
Cheers,
