Thanks for your inquiry!

1. As it stands, the connector currently does not support the application of permission rules from JIRA inside SharePoint. Therefore it would not be possible to restrict a subsite to showing projects that are relevant to that client and that client only. It would be possible, however, to achieve this functionality through customisation of the connector.

If you’d like to test the current permission scheme and get an idea of the connector’s currently functionality please let me know (I can be reached at info[at]customware[dot]net) and I can issue you with an evaluation license.

2. The video you’ve linked to is old and out of date – apologies for that. We are currently working on a new one which should be available shortly!

Access to JIRA is given to users via the “View in JIRA” link:



Currently, if you click on the issue it displays it in SharePoint:



This takes you to a new screen which displays the issue and also allows you to edit the issue also:



Customisation would be needed to modify the connector and exclude the “View in JIRA” link to restrict customer access to JIRA.

3. JIRA currently handles all notifications.

Thanks for your inquiry! The use case you've described is not currently supported by our SalesForce to JIRA plugin, however we can discuss the option of customizing the plugin to suit your needs if you'd like.
