The Visibility plugin may help you out (http://www.customware.net/repository/.... In particular, the {show-if}/{hide-if} macros that hide or show content depending on page mode.

Can I ask which version of Scaffolding and Confluence you are using?

I tried it on Confluence 3.1 and Scaffolding 3.3.1 and I see the following:



As you can see there is an arrow so that seems to be fine?

For both questions, I believe the answer would be that the data is stored in Bandana (http://confluence.atlassian.com/pages..., which is a mechanism in Confluence to store persisted data as storing in database is not always an option.
